How to Get Auto Recall Work Done on a Car
Either a vehicle manufacturer or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) may issue a recall for vehicles with safety concerns. Even if a manufacturer issues a recall, it must contact the NHTSA and all new car dealers, owners and distributors. Manufacturers are able to locate the current owners of defective vehicles owners through state motor vehicle offices. If you receive a notice about a recall, you may have your vehicle repaired for free.

Locate your vehicle identification number on your title, insurance card or registration.
2Call a same-make dealership. Find a dealer in your area by visiting the manufacturers website and using the "Locate a Dealer" function.
3Contact the dealers service department and state that you want to make an appointment for a recall repair.
4Provide your vehicle identification number to the service representative, along with your contact information.
5Arrive to your appointment on time to have your vehicle repaired.

How to Get a New Jeep Commander Key
You have to replace your tires, you have to change your oil and you occasionally might have to replace other parts of your Jeep Commander, but the need to replace your keys probably never occurred to you as a possibility. Unfortunately, car keys do get lost on occasion and you might find yourself in need of a new set of car keys. Fortunately, both Jeep dealerships and professional locksmiths can replace your Commanders keys in a timely fashion.

Find the vehicle identification number (VIN) of your Commander. The VIN is located on the engine, on the inside of the drivers door panel and on the bottom left side of your windshield. You can also find your VIN in your purchase paperwork, insurance paperwork and your title or registration paperwork.
2Contact your local Jeep dealership or any professional locksmith. Give them the VIN to your Commander. The VIN holds information for your specific Commander that you will need to have a replacement key made. Commander keys have internal computer chips that are linked to their specific car, and your replacement key will need to be programmed by the Jeep dealer or locksmith to respond to your Commander.
3Visit the Jeep dealer or locksmith. Locksmiths can come to you if you dont have transportation to their offices or to your Jeep dealership. Wait while your car key is made and programmed and pay the fee for the services provided to you.

How to Get a Car Repaired at an Auto Body School
If you are in a fender bender and your vehicle needs body work, you can get it done for a low price at an auto body school where students need vehicles for practice. An instructor will oversee the students work on your auto. The work will have to pass many levels of quality control before your repaired vehicle is returned to you.

Contact high schools or vocational schools in your area. Check to see if they are accepting vehicles.
2Tell the program instructor about the scope of the work that your vehicle needs. Be sure that your damage is not out of the realm of the services the school provides.
3Schedule a time to take the vehicle to the school for an inspection and get an estimated timeline as to when work will be performed. Factor in school vacations, weekends and holidays.
4Drop off your vehicle and leave it until the work is complete, checking back often to see if work is progressing as scheduled.
5Inspect the work upon picking your vehicle up and before driving away.
